Tolkein?s Lord of the Rings is a long book in three volumes. It is the story of a special journey made by a Hobbit called Frodo Baggins. It is a journey into an unknown land inhabited by many unusual and different characters, both good and bad. It is about a special journey to destroy a very powerful Ring.

In closing I think the book is very exciting in places and it keeps you interest throughout most of the book. However, in places it does get a bit long winded, although the plot keep you going through the less interesting bits. The ring gets destroyed by Frodo towards the end of the book and Good triumphs over evil in the end.
