Teaching Project
The population aggregate chosen for this teaching project consisted of adults over thirty years of age. The activity level, education, and occupation of
the aggregate group was also identified. A survey was taken to determine what illnesses were prevalent and warranted attention.
The aggregate group was very receptive and willing to participate in the screening. A walk-a-thon was sponsored with blood pressure and glucose screening

needed. The most important aspect of this teaching project was the fact that the information was easy to understand. To ensure that the needs of the aggregate are met reinforcement by follow-up with private physician and maybe a subsequent health fair would be the answer.
