Classicist and Romantics in Arcadia The play, Arcadia, written by Tom Stoppard, shows different characters that expresses varied opinions on certain subjects. Septimus and Hannah both need facts in order to believe that something is true, therefore they believe in science. But they also believe in art, and that things always move towards chaos. Science and art will always be apart of this world, and forever we shall always have Romantics and Classicists.
