Students today have great responsibility and pressure in today?s world to deal with school, work, home and personal life. Though most teachers do not seem to realize, or care, about anything other than their own class work. A lot of teachers believe students should have no problem doing all their homework, as well as the homework for six other classes, house work, a paying job, and a social life. …have to go to the state. I realize teachers have a hard enough time to plan their periods around the SOLs. Maybe that needs to change. The state does decide what kids have to learn but they do not consider the life outside of school. Which in turn makes it impossible for the teachers to do so. All I am asking is for state consideration for those students who have to work for their pay.
