…physically and skilfully demanding, such as engineering and factory work. Nowadays, women and men are generally paid equally, and the Bill of Rights states equality for everyone. This would probably not have happened if it had not been for campaigners, suffragists and everyone who has supported the right to equality over the years. Sexism does still exist, both in and out of the workplace, although things are much better than they were in the past.
