…war. The men that enlisted to go fight for their countries thought that the warwould be over fast and figured that it would be fun. Little did they know that the war would drag on for five years, kill thousands of young men and be the most horrific experience of their lives. Many new weapons were introduced in this war including gasses which could kill hundreds at a time and bigger and better machine guns.
