In our culture there are many things that people are affected by, for instance violent television shows. In the age of instant media, violence can be brought live and direct into the home. Wither it be videogames, or song lyrics, people are affected by everything they hear. If a young child had seen a children's program in which there were pretend acts of violence, then how could that child differentiate from the imaginary and true death? If one is made to believe that death is make believe, then what happens to that person when the become of older age? This might be particularly true in the case of the musical influence on behavior.
