I believe I've proven that American cultural values come into great conflict with human nature. Many people enjoy objectionable material simply because it is so. Some enjoy it because it appeals to their senses. But, what it all comes down to is that despite all of our howlings against sex, violence, and other morally reprehensible topics, most of us do enjoy the taboos of our society.
