M, Fritz Lang's first sound film was released in 1931 in Germany. The film is done in black and white and uses sound as a character rather then new technology over powering the cinematography. feel as if your Elsie's mother wondering where your daughter could be. The camera may just be part of a whole, but in this film it defiantly plays a major part in the reactions and feelings of the viewer. In my personal opinion this film is one of the best I have ever seen; everything from the camera work to the lighting was perfect. I would recommend this film to anybody who is studying photography.
