German Unification
The unification of Germany was quicker and more valid than that of Italy's. Most of Europe did not like Germany for the fact that they did not want a large power of German's in the middle of Europe. Before unification there had been 300+ German states. During the 30 years war tens of thousands of Germans died, resulting in a new generation of German's with war in their bloodstream. then declared war on Prussia, after six months the French were defeated. On January 19, 1871 Bismark declared a unified Germany excluding Austria. He excluded Austria because then the two major powers of Austria and Prussia would have problems, because Austria would want to control things even though Prussia did all the work to form a unified Germany. William I then became the first Kaiser of Germany.
With the unified Germany there became 6 major nations in Europe.
