In a society where preservation of life is the most important aspect, nuclear weapons are able to obliterate a whole concentration of people within seconds. Nuclear weapons threaten the world as well as humanity. Destruction is not the answer, and science should be channeled towards the benefit of mankind instead of its complete eradication.
