The decision in this case took two weeks to decide weather Marbury was allowed to receive commission from Madison. It was a unanimous decision of 4-0.The chief justice finally decided that Marbury had a legal right to receive the commission. problem they were able to correct the government system. However, I do not concur with the judges ruling in this court. James Madison should not have been trailed because was ordered by the president not to give out the commissions. This was not his fault and I believe that commissions should not be sent out at the end of a president's term. This way the government can be balanced without the government favoring one side.
