…is shown that the occurrence of war brings about political awareness in American society. With the shift of the American mindset towards nonviolence and charity, America is witnessing a movement in music content. It will be interesting to see whether the general sense of patriotism will hold up, or whether increased political awareness will bring about a change in the view of the government. Either way, it will be expressed and remembered through the music.
