events, is the deportation of 437402 Hungarian Jews to the Auschwitz camp. They were collected from various ghettos and transported to Auschwitz to face certain death. Though the conditions in a ghetto were horrific, most prisoners would rather live there than die somewhere else. The Jews that were living in the ghettos had a future, though a bleak one, and would have lived through the Holocaust if they were not deported; therefore I find it immoral.
