Lutheranism can be traced back to Martin Luther, a German religious scholar who sought to reform the practices of the Roman Catholic Church in the early 16th century. The Lutheran church was formed in Europe in 1507. It all began when Martin Luther nailed the 95 theses on the Wittenberg Castle Church's door. Overall, the beginning of the Lutheran settlement in Australia saw various cultures isolate themselves from each other, however, as time progressed, such cultures became much more flexible and began communicating with other churches, gradually developing into a single country.
