…with Freud, Jung tried to voice his opposition to Freud's beliefs. While writing "The Psychology of the Unconscious", he admitted that he was concerned that when his book was published it would clearly show how his views differed from Freud. For months, Jung was unable to undertake writing this book; however, he did publish it in 1912. By that time, Freud and Jung had finished their personal correspondence.
