Today the ruins are still visited, and when you stand at the front and look up, it is easy to imagine the huge statue towering above you. The Greeks were famous in antiquity for their art, sculpture, and architecture; and the Temple of Zeus at Olympia is an excellent example of why this has remained true even until today.
