…ethnically Chinese? Again, the American colonies were largely Anglo-Saxon who were fighting simply to be treated as proper Englishmen. One would have to redraw the world's map if being ethnically related was an argument for forcible unity. If every country started applying them, nearly every country in the world would start threatening war against every bordering country. I myself would claim that China doesn't belong to the Chinese at all but instead to the Mongols.
