similarity of Septimus and Clarissa, the isolation of both characters and their fear of death all conect with that, and makes the book much more interesting. Its also interesting to note that Clarissa and Septimus have not met in the novel by now and still they have very similar behaviors and personalities. These contrasts between characters makes you think about the book and analyze it, which is actually what makes a reader like a novel.
