well written. The introduction, consisting of four (4) pages, provided details regarding
genetic research and technology during the 20th century and projections for the coming
century. The introduction is followed by the prologue, consisting of seven (7) pages. The

the rest of their lives.
From a general story perspective, the characters in the book won. They were able
to outsmart the dinosaurs, even though they faced great peril and some lives were lost.
They returned, successfully, to the control room, restored power and ultimately escaped
the island. However, from a scientific standpoint, the dinosaurs were the victors. They
outsmarted the scientist and found a way to reproduce, even thought the population was
all female.
