…lightning is a reoccurring theme in the story. It shows how the monster was created by electricity and Shelley proves this to be a drive of evil. Shelley's character Frankenstein demonstrates how human beings can carelessly act. Frankenstein created life in hopes to be powerful and tried to use his intelligence of science to his benefit. The creation that resulted was a monster taking innocent lives. The scientific creation proved to be an evil act.
