While methods weren't exactly identical, the major similarity is that both had an aura of confidence and put faith into their ways of life. They found a government that was successful and worked for them, they had great relationships with global neighbors, and they created new, more positive viewpoints in society. Perhaps that is why they have both earned an extraordinary reputation in history.
