In the our language we have so many sayings that are over used and have lost their meaning. Everyone is always quick to say things like, "Nothings over until it's over" and "Live life to the fullest." Another saying that is always thrown around is, "You never know what you have until it is gone." This saying is one that struck a new and very intense chord in my life the summer of 2003.
