In class, we watched "Bamboozled", a film about race in the television industry. I thought the movie was somewhat confusing because Pierre seemed like he would maintain his role as the moral, honorable character that he was in the beginning when he first hatched his plan. kills Pierre because she blames him for the death of Big Black Africa and Man Ray. It seems that Cheeba is the only black character that doesn't kill or otherwise debase himself. It added to the confusion of the film because there is not a clear transition of the characters going from their original, good selves to whatever it is they became. Additionally, all of the characters being corrupted created a strong sense of hopelessness.
