INTRODUCTION Konrad Lorenz was born in Vienna in 1903. Lorenz became interested in animals at a very young age and maintained his enthusiasm on the subject throughout his life. He was an extremely famous zoologist and founding biologist in the field of ethology, or animal behavior.
