The major differences of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance occurred in the areas that were most closely related to the culture: art, literature, family structure. These areas were mostly affected because of their tight link with the church. Since the Renaissance was less patronized by the church, and therefore acquired more broad area of opportunities.
