cancer. A week later, draped in the Canadian flag, Trudeau's coffin, carried by eight Mounties, wound its way through the streets of Ottawa into the Parliament Buildings, where thousands attended his funeral.
Trudeau will be remembered by many Canadians, although not always in a favourable way. But Pierre showed that he would not be swayed by anything, be it terrorist groups or simple demonstrations, and proved that he was very capable of running the country.
