Philo T. Farnsworth II was born on august 19,1906 in Indian Creek, Utah.
Philo was the oldest of five children. His parents were Serena Bastain and Lewis
Edwin Farnsworth. Philo received his name from his grandfather Philo T.

also presented with honorary doctorates in science from Indiana Technical
college in 1951 and from brigham university in 1968. His face also appeared on

dedicated in his honor in Rigby Idaho in1988. Philo Farnsworth lead a illustrious
