…the study of healthy, motivated individuals produced valuable information about the progression of personality. His theory is what I find to be most credible because of his concept that hierarchy needs is what motivates personality. Maslow sees all these needs as essentially survival needs. Even love and esteem are needed for the maintenance of health. I agree with Maslow when he says that we all have these needs built in to us genetically, like instincts.
