In "The Trial and Death of Socrates", when Crito is trying to get Socrates to escape from prision Socrates makes two arguments on why he shouldn't escape. …not agree I can try to change them and if I desire to do something which is against the law I have to right to leave the U.S. This is a small act on my part for what the U.S. provides me. They give me education, protection, and any goods they have. I think that Socrates would agree that this is a small sacrifice for all that you get in return.
