This presentation of the play is only for the true lover of drama. Medea cried and moaned with female angst for 90% of the play. The rest of the actors were the only thing that saved the play. …is really only useful to learn about the history of drama. I don't believe it has any cultural context that would spark powerful debate or incite someone to think. It was hard to understand Medea and I may have lost something in translation. I try to keep an open mind and accept different forms of art but I couldn't handle this. It was plain, boring, and the plot has been used repeatedly since its inception.
