MOTIFS
Motifs play a very significant role in the play MacBeth. Some of the motifs are more obvious then others and some play a larger role in the play, but without them, the play would just not be the same. I have choosen to take an in depth look at three specific motifs, although there are more than three motifs in the play.

blood was the motif that pulled them all together, all three of the motifs were still important. All of the motifs stated the same general idea; dark, gloomy, rainy scenes. But what if one of the motifs were taken out of the play, would the play still be able to make the same points or would the other motifs make sense if one of the motifs was not there?
