As you can see there are positives to gambling: the money and jobs it creates. Yet, the negatives far outweigh the positives. Gambling tears up families and produces more social problems. Families are torn apart by addicted gamblers. The towns also experience social problems with higher crime rates, fraud and other serious crimes. When the sate considers legalizing gambling will they chose family and morals or will they chose money and revenues?
