…and reason of just war theory, perhaps the twentieth century would have gotten off to a better start. In effect, had the participants of the First Great War been open to the humane criteria proposed in just war theory, then perhaps the handling of those dilemmas would have presented us with a map of how to better deal with present crisis', which would allow for a more peaceful world today as well as the future.
