A first-time freshman making a decision about whether to attend a Junior College or a State University faces many important considerations. While there are obvious similarities such as the educated and professional staff, diversity for courses of instruction, transferable and non-transferable classes, and on-campus activities and services, there are more than a few differences. …is setting a standard for yourself that will mold your future. In making that choice it is responsible to not be arbitrary. Take the time, make the effort to compare your options. In my case, the comparison was clearly in favor of attending the Junior College. I can complete my two-year, Associate of Arts Degree and then transfer to a University when I have a more solid foundation and can make an informed career choice.
