Did you know Javelinas aren't actually pigs? Pigs come from the suidae family and Javelinas tayassuidae family. The Javelina is also known as the Collared Peccary. The name Javelina comes from their Javelin-like Canine teeth. Their Enemies include Mountian Lions and Bears. But they can defend themselves againest Coyotes and Dogs.
