Martin Luther King, Jr. apologizes to his readers for such a long letter but in a way this was very courteous of his part. King wrote the letter with full wisdom, he put to work his knowledge of the past and religion to defend his acts and opinions, not only was this letter convincing but in many ways he wrote the truth.
