…colleges would not be in existence if they didn't act in loco parentis. Many students would be injured or even killed. This world is all about rules; you can't break laws and get way with them. So I think colleges should also have rules to keep students under control, and to make sure the college's name isn't drug through the mud. Therefore, I feel there is no other way, but in loco parentis.
