Homelessness has been a growing concern globally. I was internally disturbed whenever I saw a homeless person. I always perceived a homeless person to be only men in dirty clothes with long white hair and beards asking for food and money. Little progress is seen, but at least there is hope that government and private institutions together will make a difference in homelessness as a whole. Individually, we can use health care as a platform to address some of the emotional, physical, cultural, and social issues that deny many homeless individuals, a privilege of being accepted once again in today's society.
