Gods Grandeur
The carousel swung around and around and around. It creaked as the horses bobbed lifelessly up and down. Paint was peeling from each of the worn rods that connected the horses to the platform. Many of the belts that strapped the rider to the horse hung from the sides, broken and demolished. The carousel was a twisted hunk of spinning metal, yet it continued to spin. For that reason, it remained open to the public.
