…it also depicted the Civil War very well. This movie definitely showed how the black race was faced with adversity just like during that time of history. This movie shows the war from a different view: this being from a black heroic regiment side and that's what makes this movie so good and unique. I think this movie shows a great relationship to the study of American History and the brutality of the civil war.
