Hypothesis
The rate of a reaction is the speed at which a reaction happens. If a reaction has a low rate, that means the molecules combine at a slower speed than a reaction with a high rate. Some reactions take hundreds, maybe even thousands of years while other can happen in less than one second. The rate of reaction depends on the type of molecules that are combining. There are two possible ways of measuring

had used the concentration as my variable then it would have been dangerous as the acidity of the acid would have to increase quite a lot to get suitable results. Even, if I had used the surface area has a variable I wouldn't have got a very wide range of results.
Overall, thorough the experiment I have learnt the whole meaning of collision theory and also that that different variables affect the 'Rate of Reaction'.
