The Black Sash dissolved in 1994 after the first Democratic Elections. They reformed themselves in 1995 as a mixed race party aimed at maintaining the human rights of all race groups. The Black Sash is currently involved in projects such as feeding schemes and housing plans for the disadvantaged.
