Throughout Emily Dickinson's poetry there are three main themes that she always seem to hint on. Death, love, and nature; as well as the impact of those specific words. The complexity of the single, written word defined the limits of communication between human beings and nature, therefore, symbolized is the isolation of the individual-a concept that can be seen in Dickinson's personal, reclusive life.
