My friend, Andrew Szczepanek, came to the United States from Poland in 2000 as a graduated medical doctor. He wanted to continue his education as a resident in one of the Illinois hospitals and became an anesthesiologist. He and thousand others Polish people are leaving their country. …reason for Andrew to go to the United States. Even though he graduated from medical college, he could not get a good job. Polish society needs some time to get use to the reforms to and the government has to be more focused on domestic problems instead of Europeans. Perhaps, some day Poland will become a member of the European Union and all these people who emigrated abroad will go back to their own homeland.
