…values. "Prejudice" is a very powerful word and also a growing problem in our society. Children are not born with prejudiced attitudes or with stereotypes. They learn values and beliefs from their family, peers, teachers, the media, and others around them. Therefore "prejudice" can only be taught it is not something that can be inherited. If we are cautious as to what we say and monitor what influences children we could eliminate "prejudice" all together.
