There was a great crisis in traditional Roman values during the transformation of the Roman Republic into the Roman Empire. Also the wrong values were instilled in the creation of the republic. These values were the love of money and the use of violence and force to gain and secure political power. However, the saddest thing is that these values are still in place today and are leading to wars around the globe.
