…That is what scares people. Therefore, why did the Holocaust happen? Because people let it. They were more enamoured with themselves and their dreams. How it happened is methodical. However, that a relatively smart society could accept the ideas suggesting that a human being could be considered other wise, after meeting a certain criteria, and exterminated like termites, that is the true tragedy. The holocaust was a mass killing of the human spirit and mind.
