Although some similarities exist, the way the ancient Egyptians and Mesopotamians viewed and worshipped their gods were quite different and impacted their daily lives in varying ways. It can be seen therefore, that in both cases the physical surroundings of the culture determine how the theological beliefs are interpreted. These beliefs in turn lead to the temperament of the gods that are worshipped and the general outlook on life by the society.
