The two poems 'Charge of the Light Brigade' by Lord Alfred Tennyson and 'Dulce et Decorum Est' by Wilfred Owen, both deal with the subject of war. The writers of these poems themselves had very different experiences with war. …attitude towards war. After reading both poems, I can say that I have preferred reading 'Dulce et Decorum Est'. I preferred this poem because it creates images and a feeling of doom about war. It gives the view of somebody that was actually involved in the war and gives their opinion. It is more interesting to read somebody's own first hand account of the experience rather than that of somebody who has not any experience
